Very effective but not perfect

As an owner of several of Arris Life's heated vested, I decided to try their Heated Knee Pad with Massage to help relieve pain and stiffness due to arthritis caused by knee surgery. The item arrived within a few days but when I tried to use the unit it did not work properly (the massage feature did not work at all and after three attempts to use the heat feature, that stopped working as well). I reached out to customer service and they quickly shipped me a replacement. This one worked!

CONS - it's a struggle to get the battery into it's holder, although once it's in there it is very secure. The wrap is bulky. The user instructions are not clear and the illustrations show a different battery.

PROS - it really, really works! I use it 2 or 3 times a day and I noticed almost instant relief from pain and stiffness. The battery lasts through 3 treatments and recharges relatively quickly. There are many heat and massage options.

TIPS - don't wear it on your bare skin as you might experience burning especially on the highest heat setting. As soon as you plug the battery in and slide it into the pocket, press and hold to activate the heat and massage functions. For subsequent treatments, simply unplug the battery and plug it back in, then press and hold the buttons to activate it. There is no need to try to find the little on-button and press it (which requires taking the battery out of the pocket and putting it back in, which is a challenge). The unit will turn off automatically after about 30+ minutes of treatment.

Overall I highly recommend this affective knee wrap. I took 1 star away for the poor instructions and difficulty in figuring out how to use it initially and it's bulkiness. Arris customer service is excellent.
